Doncaster 3.10 THE ORGANIST In Listed company but 3m should be a bonus. She is a two star** win selection @ 4/1 with Betfred and Ladbrokes. Price is bigger than I expected.
“I’m looking forward to riding The Organist for the first time in the Listed Mares Novices’ Hurdle and the step up in trip and better ground looks sure to suit. She was just beaten at Leicester last time, but if she can return to the form that saw her win her previous three on the bounce, she must have an outstanding chance.” Richard Johnson Betway Blog
Newbury 5.10 BAGS GROOVE Having to give weight away in as tough a bumper as this, it’s C2, is difficult. Even at 11/2 it has to be a Watching Brief.
CHAMPAGNE WEST Philip Hobbs to ATR “He fell in the Betbright Chase at Kempton last Saturday and haven’t done much with him since. It depends how he schools this week, what the ground is and what trip to run him over. He is entered in four race at the Festival – the Ultima Handicap Chase, Ryanair Chase, Brown Advisory & Merriebelle Stable Plate and the Gold Cup – at the moment I wouldn’t have a clue.” Cheers Philip!!
Winner of the World Hurdle in 2014, More Of That seems set to run in the RSA Chase, although he is entered in the JLT Novices’ Chase as well. “They seemed to be pleased and he has his chance at Cheltenham,” said McManus. “He’s in everything, but the RSA is most likely. He’ll be better on better ground.” Racing PostWinner of the World Hurdle in 2014, More Of That seems set to run in the RSA Chase, although he is entered in the JLT Novices’ Chase as well.

“I can report that Balthazar King gave me a terrific feel when I schooled him around a local three-day event course near Taunton. In fact, it was him who took me around and he felt really well and jumped nicely too. He looks all set to go back to the Festival for the Cross Country Chase. Kilcooley is another who looks to have booked a trip to Prestbury Park having performed admirably for me in a racecourse gallop at Kempton. If you take the favourite out of the World Hurdle, he looks right in the mix and Charlie (Longsdon) and his team will be hoping it keeps raining between now and Thursday week.” Richard Johnson Betway Blog
