#startracking Tuesday 31st May 2.05pm

All this Armstrong nonsense and I’ve been amiss in posting three runners of interest the #FantasticMrFahey does have racing today as well as a couple for #SuperStoute.

#FantasticMrFahey3yo’s

Leicester 3.00    EARLY BIRD         “Flat track, quicker ground, 5F may get 6F, C4 fillies handicap.” Leicester is a stiff 6F but this is fillies, C5 and 6F on Good to Firm ground. Paul Hanagan riding is a real bonus. Must be worth a one star* win selection @ 8/1 with Coral

Redcar 4.50         IN MY PLACE      After his latest run at Doncaster I wrote “Travelled well, needed racing room, never got a run. BHA Stewards Report “Sammy Jo Bell, the rider of IN MY PLACE, which was unplaced, reported that the gelding was denied a clear run.” Winner waiting to happen under similar circumstances. 6½F+, C5, Good to Soft+.” Ground may be a bit quick but he’s a better horse than his handicap mark OR63 and Tony Hamilton rides.

The price of 7/1 general makes him a worth a one star win selection.

Redcar 5.20         ROSE MARMARA I like this filly. “OK she is a home bred filly but she is owned by Jaber Abdullah and bred by Rabbah Bloodstock! Her mum was placed in the Nell Gwynn and won a 6F Listed race at Haydock and her dad, Exceed and Excel is a top sprint sire. On her first run she was third at Yarmouth in a fairly hot C5 6F fillies maiden keeping on to be five lengths behind a pair of fillies who have since earned black type. Next time out she took the colts on at Nottingham C5 5F and was unlucky winning “her race” in the middle of the course but the winner had a solo up that infamous stand side rail and was a length in front. Her stablemate Showbizzy was a further length behind. She put the record straight at the third attempt over Musselburghs minimum trip despite hanging right across the course! Had to race wide, wouldn’t put head down, niggled at throughout, won despite greenness. She is quick and will probably get 6F. OR70 surely underrates her talent.”

Made her seasonal debut on the Tapeta at Newcastle and was a keeping on 3rd, stays on OR70 and with the mercurial Jamie Spencer in the saddle, I make her a two star** win selection with Coral and WH @ 7/2.

#SuperStoute

Lingfield 7.20     HADDAJAH Al Shaqab Racing paid £200K for this daughter of Sea The Stars. Another already guaranteed her place in the paddocks and simply could be anything.

Haddajah                           6th           8/1 Like her stable mate, the winner Abingdon, she was cut in the market from 12/1. Held up in rear, indeed last 2F out, she kept on really well for an encouraging debut.

Drawn 2 here over Lingfield’s 10F with Dettori riding must have a favourites chance. As big as 5/2 last night, now only just odds against and too tight for these 3yo fillies maidens and I am having a Watching Brief. Wait for a decent 12F race?

Lingfield 8.50     ABERLADY After her debut last season I had this young lady on my radar but she has done nothing but disappoint since. One to be very wary of. #NotSoSuperStoute! AVOID!

#FantasticMrFahey has a few others running today the 2yo

Leicester 2.30             FORSTER SQUARE Looks a hot 2yo heat. Watching Brief.

Leicester 3.30 ZAINA RIZEENA Warm 3yo 7F fillies’ handicap. Needs to improve, Watching Brief.

Leicester 3.30 SUNNUA Warm 3yo 7F fillies’ handicap. Seasonal debut and Hayley Irvine (7) rides, Watching Brief.
